In 1995 I underwent surgery for breast cancer. Although the disease was at a very early stage, I was also given radio- and chemotherapy, after which all seemed to be well. However, one year later the cancer had metastasized into the lymphatic system, which is when I embarked on the Gerson therapy. I followed the treatment strictly for three years, until 2001, and still observe the rules of the Gerson lifestyle. To me, this therapy is the key to survival, health and life itself, and as a token of my gratitude, deep respect and commitment, I have made it my foremost task to serve and maintain Dr. Gerson's legacy.

I worked as a senior nurse at a children's clinic until May 1997, when I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. Several operations were performed, but as the margins were not clear, I was given chemotherapy. Because of the unsatisfactory repeated surgery I began to look for alternative therapies and came across the Gerson therapy. I followed it in its intensive form for two and a half years. To this day I practise the therapy, with a reduced intake of juices. Thanks to the Gerson method I have been enjoying symptom-free good health for many years.

In 1992 I was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma. I refused surgery and all other treatments whose outcome I considered uncertain. In the course of my search for an alternative I came across the Gerson therapy and embarked on it with great confidence and trust. It empowered me that I was able to take my destiny in my own hands, guided by the strict rules of the therapy. I followed it with strong will and perseverance, and by the second year my tumour had gone.
Moreover, other health problems that had plagued me all my life, e.g. constant headaches and a hyperactive thyroid, had also vanished. Since my recovery I fully appreciate being alive and try to lead a stress-free life. Naturally I continue to follow the Gerson lifestyle and at the age of 76 feel happy and grateful to have found this wonderful therapy.

Having read Beata Bishop's book ten years before, I knew about Dr Max Gerson's wonderful method, and embarked on his therapy under the guidance of Gerson therapist Dr Melania Nagy. It was a tough journey, requiring much perseverance, which I pursued in its intensive form for two years, and as a result I am able to write this report - in good health - in November 2009. For me, the Gerson therapy means life itself.
